Peaches Prichard

This is a wonderful variation of the popular Bananas Foster with a bit of a southern flair.

¼ Stick of Butter
A sliced fresh peach per person
A tablespoon or two of brown sugar
¼ cup Prichard’s Sweet Georgia Belle
Good vanilla ice cream (or for a bit more special, try peach ice cream)

In a skillet, melt the butter until it begins to sputter. Add fresh sliced peaches and sprinkle with brown sugar. Heats until peaches are caramelized. Add at least a ¼ cup Prichard’s Sweet Georgia Belle and flame. (Suggest using a butane grille lighter and BE CAREFUL!) Serve over ice cream. A variation of this recipe was suggested by the chef at the University Club in St. Louis. Try serving Peaches Prichard as a topping for fresh peach cobbler!!
